Project Overview

The Gold Coast's layed-back Cafe Twelve91 was in need of a new wallpaper, as their old one deteriorated with age and harsh beach conditions.

This cafe has been a big part of my life. I've been working there for 5 years and seen the place transform over and over again. Costomers, friends and staff came and went over the years but I stuck around. I simply couldn't get enough of the salty air, smiles all round and coffee all day.

I put my hand up to design a new wallpaper. Knowing I could leave my mark at the place that I cherish, for thousands to see, was a beautiful feeling.

I knew it needed to reflect our love and passion for where we are. So I did exactly that. I took a photo of the view from our tables out to Currumbin Alley, and used the sky blue colours as the backdrop, and overlayed some palm tree silhouettes. A simple job, done well, exactly what Cafe Twelve91 prides itself on doing.
